by Bruce Baker, PhD in Bible Exposition
A new book written for the terminally ill and those who love them has recenlty been published. The writer himself, Bruce Baker, PhD in Bible Exposition, is terminally ill and so writes as one experiencing what he writes about. In only 118 pages Dr. Baker explores specific passages of Scripture addressing questions like “Why Are People Afraid to Die?’, “How Can I Lose My Fear of Death?”,”Why Me?”, “Why This?”, and “Why Now?”. Every local church should have copies available for ultimately what we all face barring the Rapture. It is published by Grace Acres Press at GraceAcresPress.com or 303-681-9995.
Many parents who have benefitted from Biblical Framework course materials on this website have asked for aids on training their kids in biblical thinking and action. We are in the process of developing such a curriculm, though it is not available at this time. An interim tool (developed by Sugar Land Bible Church) you might find helpful for middle-school-aged children and above can be found at: https://freegracekids.com/
A valuable resource to go along with the audio files for the Bible Framework is the Course Notes. Available for Parts 2 through 6, these notes are taken from the handouts that Charles Clough references during his Bible lessons.
Since these documents were produced long after Mr. Clough’s handouts, the page numbers don't match exactly but are “in the ballpark.” We've added “lesson identifiers” (in cyan text) near the right margin to key the content to the appropriate lesson. Note that Part 2 was updated on 6/12/18.
Update 8/22: The PDF page numbers now reflect the page numbers on the pages. For example in Part 2, page 14 in the PDF is now associated with the "printed page" 14.
